Product Description

TEMED, also known as TMEDA or N,N,N',N'-Tetramethylethylene-Diamine, is a free radical stabilizer used as a catalyst. In the presence of Ammonium persulfate (APS), TEMED can be used to polymerize polyacrylamide gels for SDS-PAGE.

Molecular Biology Grade TEMED is of >99% purity. For gel electrophoresis applications, a concentration of 0.1-0.2% is generally sufficient.
