PBS Buffer 1X with 0.1% Tween 80, Sterile is primarily used in biological research; the osmolarity and ion concentration of the solution closely resemble that of the human body. This solution is non-toxic to cells and can be used for dilution or rinsing containers that contain cells. Tween 80 has been used to aid the cultivation of lactic acid bacteria.
