PBS Buffer 20X with 0.1% Tween 20, Sterile is primarily used in biological research; the osmolarity and ion concentration of the solution closely resemble that of the human body. This solution is non-toxic to cells and can be used for dilution or rinsing containers that contain cells. Tween 20, a nonionic detergent, is an emulsifying agent that have been used for the preparation of oil/water emulsions.
