Product Description
Carbenicillin Disodium Salt Solution is a penicillin antibiotic that inhibits the cell-wall synthesis of gram-negative bacteria. Carbenicillin Disodium Salt inhibits the synthesis of the cell-wall by inactivating transpeptidases on the inner surface of the bacterial cell membrane. Due to the increased stability of the Carbenicillin Disodium Salt Solution, it is often preferred to ampicillin in selection protocols.
