Guanidine Hydrochloride, also known as GuHCl, is a strong chaotropic agent used in the denaturing of proteins. It is also an effective reagent to inactivate RNase. Guanidine HCl can be an alternative to Phenol in RNA extraction.

Guanidine Hydrochloride is of Molecular Biology Grade for use in a number of DNA/RNA and Proteomics applications. We offer a number of GuHCl solutions for direct use in buffer preparation.
