Product Description
PBS (Phosphate Buffered Saline) is a sterile solution, no bacterial or fungal growth observed after 14 days, with a concentration of 10X. It contains 80.0 mM NaH2PO4, 1.5M NaCl, 30.0 mM KCl, 20.0 mM KH2PO4 and has a pH of 7.4. PBS is a water-based salt solution that helps maintain a constant pH. It is isotonic and non-toxic to most cells so therefore has many uses, including substance dilution and cell container rinsing.
